This is a song dedicated to all who've done wrong wanting to do whats right. We pay the price knowing, wishing we had died, hoping we never had to look those families in the eyes. I'm sorry for what I did, do, and will do.
This band makes me want to do something in the world. for all of you. stop having arguements (i am not pointing fingers and dont meen evry1) and actually do something to help the world to be a better place.
Human's could have peace, but peace is not in our genealogy. War is always going to be what we stand by no matter what.

I think that this song is about the emotional wounds on a soldier and how it can leave them scarred.
Its not about how bad the army is, its about how awful the experience is. People join the army to support their country and come home damaged. If they come home at all.
This song simply states the hard job that the military has and the story of how one man felt with it. If you think this kind of things do not happen, you are ignorant. That's what war is. They are not making out the military was bad, or evil. It's just a was story that is as heartbreaking as it is true.
